Eveready (circa 1906)

In the 1920’s and the 1930’s Eveready's iconic logo was designed by the artist Frances Tipton Hunter, whose work was featured regularly on The Saturday Evening Post. In 1949, Eveready captured America with the add on of a black cat jumping through the number nine representing the nine lives of the Eveready Battery.
